Togetherwork moves its headquarters to South Congress, with 250 jobs to follow
The membership-software and payments firm is leaving Atlanta for a 20,000-square-foot office on South Congress and plans to staff it from the local talent pool.
AUSTIN — Togetherwork, the integrated software and payments company serving membership organizations, is relocating its corporate headquarters from Atlanta to South Congress Avenue and expects to hire roughly 250 people locally over the next 18 to 24 months.
The company is taking 20,000 square feet at 1221 S. Congress Ave., a space previously occupied by design firm Frog Design, above a luxury retailer and across from the Austin Motel. Founded in 2015, Togetherwork runs platforms for group management, member engagement, scheduling and payment collection, and employs about 700 people globally, most of them remote or hybrid.
The new hiring is aimed at software development, payments technology and operations roles, concentrated in the company's finance and marketing functions. The move was announced in January 2026.
Why it matters
A 700-person company planting its headquarters flag on South Congress, rather than in the Domain or a suburban office park, is a signal about where mid-stage software firms now want to recruit. CEO Brent Warrington has relocated three prior companies to Austin, and Togetherwork's bet rests on the same thesis driving the city's fintech cluster: a deep, hireable talent pool willing to come into an office in a neighborhood people actually want to be in.
Austin's pool of dedicated professionals, its energetic atmosphere and the presence of key clients made it the right place to build a collaborative headquarters.— Brent Warrington, CEO, Togetherwork
